Description at a glance:
Sylus Kelton is a young man that cuts an imposing figure. His broad shoulders and confident stride mark a man who is at home on the field of battle, as evidenced by the well marked full-plate that he wears. Such armor bears the hallmarks of the Purple dragons of Cormyr, his colors and badge mark him as s squire in the Royal Corps of Monster Hunters. When seen without his helm he seems a rather unruly young man, dark waves of hair falling around his shoulders to frame a young but rugged face and his ice blue eyes and their incredulous stare. His supplies seem fairly worn but very well-maintained. Usually watching people quietly or often times seen leading a group of adventurous volunteers the young man sports a handsome jawline covered in scruff and a wry smirk most of the time. Occasioanlly seen out of his uniform, Sylus wears simple black vests fringed in purple showing a few battle wounds and layers of corded muscles, boring black trousers, and fine purple boots.
Sylus Kelton son of Theoden Kelton, grandson of Sir Reginald Kelton; retired Purple dragon knight. Sylus grew up in the town of Marsember trained for combat, his family had decided during his youth due to the child having an utter hatred of fish (their lively hood) that he should attempt to continue the family legacy of earning a knighthood. Raised by the members of the 'Blackfish' guild of fishers; Sylus, had received a great many years of combat tutoring from people across the known world. His grandfather had retired and started the guild, and many of his old allies had retired and joined. The boy hated fish and all aspects of fishing, so he learned all he could from any guildy willing to teach him about their lands and their fighting styles. Ever the studious boy Sylus took to reading books about war and tactics at a young age and was deemed a prodigy by many in the guild. On his eighteenth birthday he was gifted an adventuring charter and sent on his way.
Recently arrived to Greatgaunt Sylus has set out trying to make a name for himself, determined to be recruited rather then apply to the Purple Dragons, the young man works like he has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to proving himself.
