So after downloading the module for half an hour and reading through all the rules, I some how missed the prestige class section and how AA is capped at ten levels (complely ruining my build as I was going to go with not so high cha bard/fighter/AA). The concept i had was an elf from the Dales who mourned the lost of his friends and has for many years been a 'city elf'. A militia drunk elf archer of sorts who has latent talent but yet to tap into its full potential because of drunk burying one's problems reasons. Of course i discovered this after I went through the tutorial area and spent a good deal of time trying to overcome my colour blindness and pick the right skin tone for my wood elf.
I noticed there was Special requirements added for Thay wizard, have there been other added classes too that I just can not view in initial character creation?
I have read through the order and thought it would be cool to be a monk of Bane, but felt odd rolling one up without actaully knowing how to IC connect with the IG order/faction(s).
Both concepts interest me, one has a more mechanicle challenge than RP one and the other one has a more RP challenge.

Red Wizards aren't a specific class you choose here, but an "Avenue of Roleplay".
Many of the Monk Orders, Paladin Orders or even Clergies aren't well represented in game. There may be one or two of the members wandering about, but rarely do those organizations have places where you can officially connect to them. Using A Monk of Bane, you'd have to just keep meeting people until you could find another person of that order, if they exist as a PC. I don't think I've ever seen the Order represented in any official capacity.

It would just feel weird though walking around as a monk of the iron fist without the mandate of meeting up with Banite leader of the region if one i away from the monastery.

Banites do exist on the server.. but finding out in game can be tricky.. as the 'faith' of bane is illigal.. so they would have to trust you enough to tell you.. and i guess you would have to trust them enough to tell them else they might turn you in.

I get the appeal of having to find your fellow underground members. It just seems counterintuitive to be a monk who is completely ignorant of others. That bring said, its also something i can embrace. Like some difficult task/quest to make contact when not being from the area. That or i could roll up a divine arcane archer (been wracking my brain on wjay to do in terms of making an archer eitjout being another ranger since AA only goes to 10. I have come up with some interesting ideas)

There have been people are have played all out evil from the start.. though this can be incredible hard.. as partys can be hard to find. Though this allowed evil players to find out fast who you are I actully belive there is a WANTING poster on a known banite at the moment.

As a monk character of a specific faith or order, you could roleplay that your character is from a monastery of that order or faith in another country, so your character does have connection to the organization, just not within the borders of Cormyr. Then he's not a monk without a monastery, he's a monk far away from his home monastery.
