Warning Signs Appear Next to the Mistwood Roads.

And so it came to pass that signs were posted near easy access points of the Mistwood, along the road.

There is a strange malady in the forest. Enter at your own risk.

*Amidst the mid day, while the sun yet crests the peaks of the Mistwood trees, Fenix would make his way pointedly and purposefully around the borders of the woodland. Upon sight of each sign, he would remove them with precise care, replacing them with his own.*

This wood bears the weight of taint.
This wood bears poison.
This wood bears death.

Heed. Do Not Enter.

*Upon completion of the task, Fenix would return the signs to the King's Wood, near to the Guardian's grove. He would drop them haphazardly outside the boundaries of where closest he would know this to be, then depart without any further impending moment. As he departed, he could be seen dressing his left arm in a new array of bandages, discarding the bloodied ones into his pack.*

An unidentified person wearing a hood crosses out all the words of Fenix's sign that isn't "bears". Or at least most of them.


The sign now looks like this.

Some of the signs were re-written by unknown dark-robbed figure...

It's easily readable that these sentences were written inside hexagon along with smileing skull.

*Marister had left the Grove on his way back to Valkur's Roar and towards the Mistwood.  He stopped when he came across the signs Kali had posted and growled slightly.  He picked them up and continued his way towards Mistwood.

He arrived and frowned at the other signs and graffiti written.  He carefully replaced Kali's signs.  As he was leaving he noticed the words and image on one of them and his blood ran cold.  He would need to alert the Guardians.

With great haste he made his way back to the Grove.

[Fenix]

Some days later, Fenix returns again to repeat his previous actions. In addition, he scrubs clean any signs, or replaces those that cannot be cleaned. He strips away any graffiti or delusion poetry, and burns it on the spot. Rather than depart, he enters the woodland with a heavy pack.

*Of late, logging has ceased with the signs, workers finally getting too unnerved by the atmosphere to keep going, the patrols stop. And occasionally the Lord Huntsilver can be seen scowling towards the woods as he goes about his day.*

A lone female druid enters the Mistwood, glancing down at Fenix's sign and shaking her head. She scans the trees as she goes and also avoids any mist patches. As she gets deeper into the woods to a spot she is familiar with, she says in Elven, "If you are watching, we must speak"
