Lorine

Every morning outside of the South Gate, a tall man clad in full plate can bee seen practicing with a halberd for hours. After practice, he enters Valkur's Roar, chewing on a cigar. During the day, he can be seen conversing with members of the Watch. At times, he offers cigars to those on patrol. He is also seen visiting establishments frequented by off duty Guards. He shares ale and stories of drunken sailors, lost children and merchants caught with their mistresses, with them. When asked his name, he replies, "I am known as Lorine".

*One night after a game of dice and a pitcher ale one table, Lorine leans forwards to professes the following*

"You guards live the life. This charter I have, this is nothing but empty promises. You get to watch over the place you live and the folk that you may or may not like. You get to go home at night to a friendly tavern or a home filled with kin. Me...I have to always watch my back and wonder if the next place I go will be in some monster's pot or becoming Carrion Crawler dung! Sure, I find coin and treasures but you...yes you get steady pay and a sound days work. Keep me in your prayers, I envy you."

*Lorine chews on his cigar and watches those gathered, with a haunting look in his eyes*

... after a brief interview with Lorine about his aspiration for service with the Valkur's Roar Lord's Watch, Inquisitor Steel inks his name into a ledger in preparation for things to come...

Lorine can be seen inquiring off-duty watchmen, "I am looking for a Corporal Kiligaroth,tell me when he is on duty."
