To the most honoured Lord Priest Osirtesen-ankh of House Osrianth,
My Friend,
I write to you finding myself in dire peril. Our house was attacked in the middle of the night, and I know not what has become of my beloved Tahut-nefer! He whisked me as far away as he could with his magic, and has not contacted me since, I fear the worst has happened. I wanted to write to you earlier, but I find myself in lands where the people live not by the Ma'at and the will of the God-Kings, and while I was told this 'Cormyr' is less tainted by the Isfet than most western lands, there are literally people killing each other in the streets of the village I stayed in the past few days as I write this - needless to say, finding a mage capable of delivering this message to you proved challenging, not to mention I had to waste the blessings of the Lady to dispatch monsters just to raise coin for his service - and hopefully discretion.
Please, if you are not already looking into the matter, I beseech the faithful of the White Crown to find out what happened to my dear Tahut-nefer! I would not know who could ever wish his gentle soul ill, you know him as I do!
I do not know wether it is safe for me to return home or wether whomever wished my poor Tahut-nefer harm seeks my demise as well, so I shall remain in these savage lands of chaos for the time being. I am staying in the town of Greatgaunt in the Western Reaches of Cormyr for now... assuming those who fight in the streets do not burn the whole place to the ground.
Please, let me know if you learn anything. I have nothing but the highest trust in the Servants of Lord Osiris to see this through. Let Tahut-nefer know I am reasonably well, given the circumstances.
I pray to the Goddess you can still tell him.
Hail to the Pharaoh, may his reign be everlasting,
Godspeed, my friend,
Lady Priestess Nitetis of Our Bountiful Lady

She huffed as she watched the mage teleport off with her letter.
Osirtesen-ankh was a just man who walked the Path of Ma'at and old friend of her husband.
He'd get to the bottom of this.
He had to... Tahut-nefer couldn't be hurt or... no.
She pushed the thought away and settled down next to the river. Prayer would clear her mind. The Goddess would see her through until her answer arrived.
