You dislike combat and killing, preferring to use diplomacy, subtlety, trickery, and other nonviolent means to solve your problems. However, when there is no other choice, you draw steel alongside your allies.
Family:
Beldur was born into a family with moderate wealth. His parents were farmers in the village of Ashbravn. Living off the toil of their hard work in the fields. They held close ties to the local charter of Tormites. Allowing Beldur to train and learn various aspects of Torm.
Though, they were always ready to defend themselves. Local villians were unprepared for his families capable combat skills. The village looked favorably on the Wolfhearts because of this and that the family took care of the village as much as their own. Tormites liked the Wolfhearts due to their enmity towards the followers of Bane. It's unclear for this enmity, however.
The Wolfhearts were stalwart companions to many in the village. Earning their favorable reputation among their peers. They were supportive towards the current political power, though not blind to possible change that may happen. They have no power structure of their own, however Beldur's parents swore loyalty to the local lord of Ashbravn. This maybe due to an ancestor of theirs being unsuccessful at finding a community and fearful of repeating their mistakes.
Education:
The Tormites that taught with Beldur often had him writing or reading various books at a young age. Though this bored him easily, he learned a great many things of the world. What fasinated him the most however was the magic the clerics and paladins held.
The Tormites had different plans for the young man, however. When he came of age to be formally educated, they started to teach him the power of his words. Often having him have political discussions with the local lord and see how it affects the people that live within the community. Sometimes having philisophical debates with the leader of the Tormite chapter, and the lord of Ashbravn.
Continuing their training, the Tormites started to help Beldur train in the art of combat, military formations, drills and physical conditioning. They pushed Beldur through various trials and tests, making sure he understood his role as a soldier as much as a potential paladin.
Life Events (Thus far):
Early in life, Beldur was born under a strange astronomical Event. Though the local mages and clerics assured his parents it was a good omen, his family felt dred all the same. Fearing the worst, they made connections to the local charter of the Tormite temple.
In his youth, Beldur took a stand in a political debate during his education. The lords son wanted to raid a nearby bandit camp without taking diplomatic means first. Beldur opposed this openly, claiming that if they attack without diplomatic means first, then they would be no better than the bandits in the first place.
The lord took both opinions in the matter and opted a comprimise. To have the local militia prepare an ambush and flank in case diplomatic means didn't work out in their favor. Of course the diplomatic means did fail, however many didn't die due to surrendering when the militia outflanked and defeated many of the bandits within the camp.
Relationships:
Both his parents are still alive and well. Living in Ashbravn taking care of his three younger siblings. Beldur never knew his grandparents on either side of his family. Having died before he was born. Though his grandparents were like rabbits, siring seventeen other children before they passed on either side of the family.
Beldur didn't make friends easily during his time in the village. Forcused more on his studies he only had a few friends. However they were close to him and they demanded that he return famous and alive. The local lords son however dispised him. Angered that his father had listened to Beldur's request to try a diplomatic solution over his military strike.
His mentor was an elven Tormite, though extreamly rare, the elf often laughed when reminded of the oddity. The elf taught Beldur all he knew. Swordplay, languages, political movements, military movements, and how to woo women. Though Beldur didn't pay much attention to how to woo women.
