Hot on the hooves of the couriers heralding the roster of games come those who trumpet the Shieldmeet Tournament Schedule.
The Maze of Madness and the Mage Faire are ongoing events throughout the Shieldmeet. Contact Helga Battleaxe and Orichan Tailor respectively to participate.
The following times are approximate and may shift forward or back depending on how things go in game. If you'd like to participate in an event, try to log in early just in case!

//Participants, please note that if you have one contestant badge ... it applies to ALL games, per the badges description, so don't shy on participating in as many events as able, pending qualifications of adhering to tourney standards!

// don't think I can make it the warriors grit competition looks like great fun. I'm on a 7 day straight 12hr shift run... 9est may be to late for me. A two hr event would leave me with 4 and half hr sleep. Unlike Cherri I don't do well with little sleep and I know sometimes events can take a little longer then normal.

I'm back in business! Apparently I don't start my long stint of 12's until the week!
This is an amazing coincidence for me.
I have not had an entire weekend (friday included) off in close to three years now. Super hyped to take part in the event!

How exactly does one sign up for this stuff? I see lots of descriptions and schedules but people keep saying "I signed up, did you?" and I see no information about who/what/where/when.

Talk with any of the Shieldmeet masters ingame about buying either a Guest Badge or a Competitor Badge. Each cover, respectively, spectating or entering the tournaments over the entire four day course of FUN!

It's hard to resist saying words. Flamerule only has 30 days. There is no 31 Flamerule. 31 July serves as both Midsummer AND Shieldmeet on FRC, two calendar days that follow Flamerule. (Shieldmeet only every four years.) I know that the Proboards BBCode tables are royal pains so I wouldn't ask you to change it. I'm just pointing it out for calendar canon clarity. (I could change it though, if you wanted?)

Theres no time scheduled for Bloazing hand? just the Big knuckle brawl? Or am I too worked out to read properly?

Whilst I commend the organisation, it may be a good idea to organise the table by the respective events as well as chronologically. This way people can just pick out the events they know they want to attend and plan accordingly- while that can be done now it's a bit of a struggle to pull events out of the list singular. Overall though, I wasn't originally enthused by a potential lagfest but this is starting to look really good!

Theres no time scheduled for Bloazing hand? just the Big knuckle brawl? Or am I too worked out to read properly? I listed them as the Bareknuckle Brawls on the 30th at 10 PM US Central. I'll correct the time table to say Blazing Hand.

I ask because in the events description, the Bareknuckle brawl is a free for all for all levels... but there is also the three tiered event for brawling as well.

Just curious, is there a reason why some events are so many hours long? do we have to be there sharp, is it several of the same event, or is it staggered.

Just curious, is there a reason why some events are so many hours long? do we have to be there sharp, is it several of the same event, or is it staggered. This is to space out the events where we can to make sure they have enough time and allow roleplay between them. The schedule can (and has) changed due to technical difficulties, duration of events, and turnout. Where possible, it's a good idea to attempt to arrive early for an event but also to check in from time to time as where is potential for slippage when things go long or wrong.
