Melchior stands as a broad shouldered, muscled man, made so by both work and combat. A few scars adorn his face, and his nose appears to have been broken at least a half dozen times. Between ill fitting clothes, tears in his armors tabard, his shaggy, wild hair and only occasionally trimmed beard add to a disheveled look, though he generally wears a smile.
On his neck, Melchior carries three holy symbols, all of Tyr. One is whole, polished and presentable. Another seem worn, damaged by some sort of sharpened tool or weapon, but still overall not in bad condition. The third holy symbol stands as a complete contrast to the other two. It would be hard to recognize it at first glance as Tyr's symbol, as it looks to have been badly defaced, the scales of justice missing entirely.
