A Frost Fair
I would like to organise a frost fair in Valkurs Roar, the fair to fall on the midwinter festival
Having visited your town on a number of occasions i feel the most suitable venue for the fair would be on the walkway below the walls running between the southwest and south east quarter. I would like to pour water on the walkway letting it freeze overnight and provide skates to those nobles, adventurers, traders and commoners who would wish to enjoy the fair. I am also planning to freeze the paths near the memorial stone in the south west quarter or another suitably enclosed area as a skating area for those who wish to dance and enjoy your city.
those of noble birth and those commoners who are citizens of your city would be entered gratis while adventurers and traders would be charged a fee to access the fair and set up stalls. I plan to donate any profits from the fair to the Slum fund.
Pending the approval of the City Council and the Baron i will contact traders from around Cormyr who might wish to display their wares to such a large audience. Please leave word at the Tipsy Imp if you would wish to hear more and discuss these plans.
