Description

height; 5.10
build; muscular
Hair colour; black/dark brown with a purpleish tint
Eyes colour; Deep brown with purplish flecks near the pupil
Notes; no body hair can be seen, always clean shaven. his skin is totally unscarred or blemished in anyway, for those who know tailor his skin would seem somehow...less pale more healthy looking and there is no indication of any scarring about the ears which look perfectly normal

At a glance; you would note a soft expression and a twinkle in his eye with a hint of mischief and humour. Tailor would usually be seen wearing colourful and expensive looking costumes. An outline of a large shield can be sen under his cloak and a rapier sheathed at his waist. he has recently taken to wearing a pendant depicting three six pointed stars, orange yellow and red. A book is never far from his hand which he can be seen writing in.

Under A Silverymoon
Stay with me under the silvery moon where the satyrs stare with greedy eyes at the lover entwined by the rivers edge and wonder at their lies
Stray with in star lit glades when the forest forgets to breathe the thought of nights yet to come and a promise not to leave
Lay with me on summer nights where the lilies bloom with echoes to the  softly whispered words buried deep in sultry shadows

Betray for me your softest sigh when the world stops in its flight to wait for you in waking dreams in the garden of our delight
Display for me a lovers tear where white tipped furies strive from the precipice of ecstasy to the depths we fear to dive
Say for me with a single kiss when the wind steals from my lips the dreams i made before i lived that death cannot eclipse

Meditations on Desire
Follow your desire but do not led it lead. is it possible to have no desire?  When desire sneaks into your heart welcome him with a glad smile. Be true to your desire, let it cleanse you and free you from doubt. Allow the desire of the people you meet to burn brightly, let desire brighten faerun in the darkness.

Bright Water
Before the dawn a moment of bliss
warm caress on a shimmering night
Passions aroused by a sleepy kiss
to drown at once in loves sight.

The red of her hair in shadows scape
the grey of her eyes so lambent and bright
I dreamt we me to plan our escape
through swirlling motes of glittering light

A wall of words to speak of lust
the lovers dance behind the scene
while on the stage a spiteful jest
our troubles quelled by loves quisine

All my words drifting on the wind
but look they cant be seen
As if it mattered that we sinned

The loving dead so quick to curse

The Steam room
Fingertips tracing skin

Random but significant events

five figures dazed and bloodt stumble onto the streets of Suzail seemingly thrown from their feet. Shock and awe upon their faces. Soon their paths take seperate directions. two figures, a female elf and a man stand talking in the market eventually heading towards the north gate. The man a colourfully dressed well built purple haired gallant leads a tiny blue lipped attractive elf, she holds his arm as they move through Suzail talking quietly. Stopping at the shrine of Llira they enter, many hours later the pair are seen leaving the temple. With a hug and a peck on the cheek the elven woman leaves and the man re enters the temple... A cry of pain might have been heard from the herb garden behind the regal griffon. a few moments later a bloodstained figure is seen walking into the square carrying a bloodstained wriggling sack, tightly tied shut. The man and some others in the square enter the market. After some time the power of mighty magic being cast might be heard from outside of the market. first to leave is a woman in a white dress who glows, she heads towards the caravans, next a woman in a red dress also towards the caravans. the bloodstained man is next dragged grinning by a red haired woman... Past the griffon towards the canal runner. Will she be there tonight? His feet slowed as he approached the cloven hoof, he pushed back his hood gazing towards the inn. Pushing open the door he signalled to the bar keep taking his table hidden behind the screen to the right. Dammed play he mutters, should have cancelled it and gone with her. How bad could a farm and a handful of kids be? Drinks his drink and swallows his food before pushing open the door to his room. He sits at the table pen paused above his book as though ready to write... (18/8/15)

After exchanging a few words with the craftsman in front of the griffon tailor hurried of to the caravans. He met up with the craftsman in the library they have disavowed knowledge of and intention to meet. Many hours passed and after much magical work Tailor hurried oout of the library with a small box in his hands... (14/9/15)

Diary

damn it hurt to pull of those boots...to cast them aside. i expected to feel empty, i thought i was giving a part of myself away. But like so many things, i was wrong. What i gave away was never mine merely bolted onto me? like an extra leg that forever trips you up, like an extra hand that knocks your spoon from your lips, a voice that bullies and curses you a belly that churns with poison. I gave away nothing and in giving nothing i gained everything. i gained friendship, trust, joy, love and yet when i looked closer i had gained nothing. everything i had was always mine to give. 
how do you give a smile when your other mouth scowls, a kind word when your voice curses, a helping hand with a clenched fist? (7/7/15)

I stood so long in darkness that the only colour i saw was black and bright white, whatever was in between held no interest. As i walked towards the light i see greys in so many shades, shades that move towards the light and become blinding, shades that move towards darkness and disappear in shadows. Some days i feel lost in moving shadows, shadows that speak to me call out to me ask me for help that i am suddenly unsure if i should give. I am so afraid of the mistakes that will claim me, the traps and snares that will seduce me. Though i walk my path, the path i have chosen still there are those who would walk by my side, those that believe in me. Let my friends give the strength i lack, that some call weakness. And in turn i offer that strength to others. (16/07/15)

*As he cruised upriver from Thuderstone to Arabel*I didn't tell Isabel but she must have guessed...gods will they all be there. Ah my love say yes...you have too. don't know what i'm going to do *he looked down again at the ring in the little wooden box*, i have the ring and so many times i wanted to tell her give her some hint and now that i can finally ask her...i don't know if i can find the words. I'll probably just blurt it out and make a fool of myself. *deep sigh as he watches the ferry port draw near* Well here goes *jumps of the ferry and heads towards the West Gate trying to look his normal confident self*

Tales from The War Wizards Tower

I'm ready...i said with a nervous smile. The -Snick- of the lock echoed as Darren turned and left leaving me in my cell. I wasn't ready, no one is ready to be locked in a cell. I paced restlessly, the few steps from wall to bars and back becoming familiar...I knew she would come but what i didn't know was how it felt to be a prisoner. The tears poured down my cheeks as she turned with heavy steps towards the stairs. Why was i crying? i didn't want her to stay in this dark hole i wanted her to go and sleep and come back when she was ready but the tears wouldn't listen....

All my visitors, i am grateful for each of you, your words, your kindness. So strange to watch you come and go and not to go with you. I am miserable in here, sad. my thoughts turn to the people i love the people i miss. Will she come/ i know she will come. if she didn't come it would be torture and when she leaves it will be torture but to stay is to torture herself...

An Island in the Sea: Getting There



Chasing the children around the docks and around the harbour master while Tari's carefully arranged plans were being carried out. Orichan regarded his charges with a mixture of indulgent benevolence and frivolous mirth. its entirely possible Tari rolled her eyes at some of the more ridiculous stunts. In hindsight allowing himself to be persuaded to climb to a crows nest was a little silly. He didn't mind though, his smile was so broad even his new smiling muscles ached.

The voyage itself was glorious, Ori passed the time by telling tales about the sea and the lands he passed of which he knew virtually nothing, the sailors added in titbits of actual information but his tales never ceased their flow as he wove his stories round the kernels of truth he learned. Glancing across to his red headed wife his heart would skip a beat his smile reappear and he would drive his stories to new heights. There's always one right? and there was, little Fran leaning over the rails trying not to look miserable. Catching Tari's eye he spent some time with the little mite trying to distract her. He knew how busy he would be popping back and forth between Orlumber and Cormyr but he was glad he was here, happiness he though to himself, is being with those you love.


Would they meet the merchant fleets owner? Part of him wanted to watch the kids slack jawed expressions but really let the dragon hide in its human form and let them enjoy their journey and their stay. As the ship settled into its routine and the children found sailors to pester Ori would wander around the ship swapping stories with the sailors. bursts of song and laughter would spring up wherever he was as he toured about the ship. His eyes and his thoughts were never far from the children's teacher. 

Later as the sun turned the sky pink and orange he gazed out towards the sunset with a feeling of contentment and happiness, seeing her white dress flapping in the breeze his heart melted his arms around her almost without thought. He would remember her hair burning bright in the sunset for years to come.

They made arrangements each day for brief appearances in Cormyr during the ride ahead. Most of the next day was spent in Immersea at the Thundersword manor hurrying to the temple of Selune to find his lift back to the island...

So there he was in Immersea sitting on the steps of the shrine gazing south towards the festival grounds. He'd wandered idly from Great Gaunt to suzail his thoughts half a world way. He'd met some people he knew, exchanged greetings and excused himself, work his excuse for moving on. Sitting in the warm sunshine watching the sun slowly move across the sky, soon they would be looking for him...

She'd left him by the caravans shushing his questions and worry, he could still see her bright smile fading as she'd spoken the familiar incantation. He'd told her how busy this last day would be, so many things left to do...left undone. His smile slipped off his face as he opened his eyes gazing glumly at the empty space before him. Had Great Gaunt ever seemed so dull and lifeless, the sky so grey? such a busy day, he mouthed the words silently finally trudging towards the town square...

In Suzail the market was idle, everyone hiding from the midday heat. Perhaps they were at lunch with their lovers, perhaps dozing in the shade? She'd be fine he told himself, she could handle anything and what point was there in worry? Smile, be happy enjoy the festival, plan the dance, swing by the temple and Castilla for some pointers. He sat listening to the city, the city offered no comfort. He should have told her the Festival didn't need a poet pretending to be a master of Art. She'd be fine he told himself again.

So here he was in Immersea sitting on the steps of the shrine gazing south towards the festival grounds...

The Music Lesson

he rubbed bleary eyes looking about the now familiar room. The light from the windows still faint and shadowy. Images from his dreams flashed through his minds eye and he sighed softly. Bright red eyes peering balefully through waterfalls that faded from view as he focused on them, nailed shut wooden crates shrieking in torment, ropes that coiled down for the sky to twist snakelike around limbs...

He smiled wearily pushing the dreams away and rolled out of bed. The docks rang with the calls of seagulls cawing in the early morning mists, the calls of the sailors cursing as they loaded crates onto a ship. Tailor strolled confidently down the road, the people here knew the bard and many early risers would call out a greeting. Gerta,s guitars the sign read, he paused for a moment to look at the displays, a little smile pushing the corners of his mouth upward as he read the sign...

Entering the shop he was greeted by the crone like owner who leered and cackled. Pretty boy come back to Gerta? Come come closer look at gertas things pooh yes she has music for her pretty boy....
With an inward shudder and a smile he choose several cheap guitars before heading back towards the school.

The children giggled as he fluffed the chords again, getting the strumming in sync with the buttons on the stem more complicated than it looked. this time was different, his fingers moved as if possessed the children spellbound as the melodies drifted out combing and echoing within the small room. Shadows spread from the guitar reaching out to caress their stunned faces. The lights dimmed lower the shadows taking on shape and form, dancing with each other like tiny figures of smoke in a courty stilted extravagant whirls.

figures started to take shape behind and beyond the walls of the little room the children's faces becoming pale and ghostlike. An orchestra of pipes and bells joining his melody drifting from below his feet, the figures from beyond swayed taking on the faces of a multitude of hags leering. The conductor demanded his attention pointing her baton and waving it dramatocally, drops of blood dripped from his fingers as they sawed at the strings. The conductor leered and moved her baton in  unfeasible contortions the musician on the stage opened his mouth in a soundless scream...

A poem heard in the shrine of the North wind on the night before the play in Arabel

If i was a painter I'd sit searching the sky
Picture every shade in the changing light
First light till suns light falls into the night
Searching for you in each colour that i spy

If i was a tailor with my needle i'd thread
Yellow for joy and the laughter we share
Red for desire and the dances we dare
All stitched together by the words that you said

If i was a dancer my heart would be beating
A rhythm so fast my head would be spinning
A rhythm so fleeting my legs never aching
My partner so poised so around you i'm whirling

If i was a sculptor with my hands full of clay
Your curves i'm creating my eyes still closed
Molding you slowly till hands have exposed
Our inner selves singing please stay, don't stray

If you were my lover my search would be done
My heart would be still with no more regrets
Autumns storms replaced with gorgeous sunsets

seeking for solace behind a locked door

where did they come, monsters that prowled, hope is the last to die

We stood in the crowd, soldiers march past
Welcoming the regent, compare and contrast

The election won by the priestess of love
The whip set aside the people were sick of

The sons they laid siege, they kept us inside
Sons set against fathers while mothers cried

The streets still here, north wind still cold
hope for tomorrow, our futures not sold

Mid winters promise left to bloom in spring
Slipping, sliding, fading, finding time to sing

He stirred from his sleep writhing drowsily against the warm body next to his. The dappled spring sunlight drenching he room in soft light though the party closed curtains, the sounds of the great city coming to life drifting through the open window. Squinting at the familiar room with a delighted smile on his face, his eyes sowly closing his smile fading as he drifted back to sleep. Suddenly awake his eyes sprung open, his mind a whirl...spellbound...around...crowned? unbound mmmmm. He carefully disentangled trying not to disturb the sleeper. Gathering a robe, and writing implements he sat on the balcony admiring for a moment the view before bending over his book to write.

Love Knots

Tangled together in a lovers knot

The writer left his book and quill on the balcony table and walked back to the warm bed letting his robe slide to the floor as he snuggled close to the warm body beneath the covers... waited patiently for her to awake....

Hope, she crept upon me while I drowsed
I'd always thought that doorway closed
another trick said I, one I could ignore
so simple and yet missing from my lore.

Hope, she crept into my heart one day
telling me secrets to show her ways

A couple arrive on the shore of the thunder river, as if from thin air. He opened one eye peeking at the beautiful woman in his arms before grinning. Words are exchanged. Brief words before he lets her slip from his arms his blown kiss taken with her wherever she went, vanishing like the morning mist over the river. He looked around, shouldered his pack and walked into the town belatedly saluting the wandering guards.
