Windows rattled, walls shook, and it seemed as though the Tipsy Imp was experiencing an earthquake of a lesser magnitude...or was it?
As people dashed for the exists leaving clothes, food, drinks and more behind in the great panic, it became more and more clear that this in fact was no earthquake. Upon exiting the inn a trail of smoke could be seen stretching from the southern horizon of the city up over and past the north gate and off into the distance towards the Mistwood. Those looking out the gate would notice great fires trailing down the road before visibility was cut off completely from the smoke.

An hour or so later, a red dragon and rider might be able to be seen about a mile off the coast as they patrol up and down the coastline. They wouldn't come much closer to land than that. They spend a few hours doing so before turning back out to sea.

*Amilith would speak to kin he encountered while in the city of Suzail, upon hearing such he would make his way to this location searching for the cause*

*upon arrival, he would search the area looking for signs of what happened and deal with any threats of necessity, making his way from the first sign to the last sigh of the fire. upon walking back to where he first encountered the fire he would fill bags in his possession with water and dump it over the scattered flames. he would take in the surroundings as he makes his way, looking into various paths that could reveal the problem. he would tend to the fire first, before turning his attention to the local animals that may have suffered or need help if nothing urgent caught his attention. he would spend the time needed dealing with what he can.*

Staring out at the fires, Barrick brings his right hand to his left forearm. He would shake slightly, recalling the dragon fires that so long ago touched his young flesh. He averts his eyes and walks in the opposite direction.

Morgaine heads right towards the fires to see if she can help put them out and control them. The fact that she has strong fire protections play a role as she moves in that direction. She doesn't have magic to summon water but she can wield a shovel well and carry a bucket. She watches for a source as she moves to combat the blaze.

As people move in from Valkur's Roar and the surrounding areas to douse the flames, cool winds coming down from the Stormhorns sweep most of the remaining smoke out to sea. The rains follow soon after and with the help of many the fires are soon extinguished and normal travel throughout the area is restored.
In the days and weeks that follow the damaged land between Valkur's Roar and Shallybrook begins to heal.
