My arcane powers are developing rapidly now that I can control them. Too many people here are against me... how sad that my own countrymen would look down on the powers that I have been granted. But I know now that I must flee Amn if I am ever to become a great sorceress... there is too much oppresion here. I hear tale that Cormyr is a place where the arcane is respected, perhaps that is where I will go to.
The road to Cormyr has taken months... I pray this will all be worthwhile. I have found my way to a small village called Isinhold, there seem to be many adventurers here, novice and veteran alike. I will need to be careful and fall into the right crowd.
