Valkur's Roar - The Farmlands

A hin dressed in green robes and sporting loose red hair tied back in a pony tail spends the next few weeks helping the farmers to rejuvenate and salvage the fields around Valkur's Roar. Yllaora presents herself to the farmers as a "Green Child of Sheela" and ambassador between the wild and the tamed. She brings with her a life time of farming experience, having only recently begun the call of an adventurer. She calls upon Sheela's divine energy to help in the restorative process and happily shares hin farming techniques with the tallfolk. An aged brown bear can also be seen patrolling through the woodlands near the fields, ready to rip any invading beetles to pieces with mighty slashes of his claws. The bear makes a point of staying away from the farmers though if he is confronted by them he would slowly and peacefully move away.

It appears to many farm folk that there is a plague of beetles. Beetles of all sizes and varieties are becoming a pestilance in the croplands of the Western Reaches of Cormyr. While vigilant farmers are able to minimize their encroachment, it is becomming apparent that this year's harvest will be affected, leading to a rise in food pricrs in the winter.

A human woman in brown and green leathers is seen taking soil samples to look for beetle larvae at the various farms in the Valkur's Roar area. Reports are that she changed into a giant eagle, and headed off towards the slums.
