Haldir speaks and tells the recent tale.
He had met a man of a merchant ship in Greatgaunt. (States the man's name he gave, and describes him ... the character being DM SF 's char ) The man was seeking drink at the inn. He spoke of rumors of ships gathering south of Cormyr.
So he and a few others like Fiona Ace of Blades and Shamoke elf mage went to south docks of the roar to check out the rumor.
We saw a storm force a black ship with black sails to shore south of the city of Valkur's roar. The wrecked ship is there for agents of the roar to check it out even.
We headed south to see what was happened and found and fought pirates who did not parley but simply attacked us. We defeated them all. Some of their casters had holy symbols like this one (turns in an amulet with a wave pattern on it)
They were guarding their wrecked ship.
When the storm cleared large number of ships far in the distance like the one wrecked on the shore south of the roar. They sailed off, but I think those ships might be full of hostile pirates as well.
I hope Valkur's roar informs Suzail and the rest of Cormyr of these ships and the dangers of them.
