Oh honey...you know I'm in. Didn't we talk about this back in the day? I remember Loria and Fiona training, at least. Loria would have some hesitation about anything so official, so formal, she's not big on responsibility. If only there were another reason to- OH MY GOD THERES A BEAR LOOSE IN HERE! ....mmmmmyesss, that'll do. Lesson one, class, pay attention, now...today, we learn what bears are for. |

I'm actually leaning ~against~ formalizing it as a guild at the moment. I think one of the core appeals to this is that anyone who has an interest can participate and the "one guild per character" rule will cause some folks to lean away from it.

I love you too Rane. There's always 'special' classes available for you.  Seriously though, I'm pretty surprised by the interest in this. I think I'll start off small - maybe have Fiona put up a poster saying she is looking for pupils and see who signs up. Maybe we'll do our first few classes in by the the training dummy in Greatgaunt or something and see if the idea sticks in general. After that, who knows, we can petition the Crown for an actual plot of land and a Guild! I think it would be cool to have uniforms - "Gi"'s or something to practice in and training weapons. Thanks for the super-cool-awesome support everyone! Look for a post in a few days and be sure to sign up!  As for training weapons, I know all club weapons can be remodeled to look like a bokken or a hanbo ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokken& " rel="nofollow" target="_blank">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanb%C5% ) But it would be so cool if there were training sparring versions for all weapons in game. Even training sparring gloves for unarmed warriors |

Training weapons are on the module. The RMHC has weapons that have the "no damage" property and an extra -5 damage to leach up some strength bonuses. Getting some of those would be nifty.

I know this is a little last minute, but...is there enough time and interest in having a formal class this sunday, say noonish GMT - 5? Im sort of flexible on the time and can probably accommodate a change. If there isnt enough availability and/or interest, we can postpone. Just thought I'd bring it up.
It'll probably be a lot of running around GG, introductions, basic rules, maybe a few sparing lessons. Personal classes are always still opens outside the formal ones.
