(Just a before hand note, this background is continously being added to thus it may according to length be added to if appropriate and if does so will be named in parts, i.e. Part II; thus I will start with Part I, for those interrested in where I aquire certain information I may include the sources.)
Part I
Rillifane Rallathil, "The Leaflord" or so he is called was foretold by some of the inhabitants of of the High Forest to be visiting on one of the most revered of Rillifane's holy days, The Spring Equinox in the mid month of Ches, otherwise known at times as, The Month of the Sunsets. Immediately his priests went to work on the preparation, or more so then before. Within weeks the Wood Elves had made ornimates for a portion of the oaken part of the forest with crafts made of wood; Soon news had reached other forests and the act thereof had caused others to migrate or pilgrimage to the forest, atleast temporarally. As the years drew near more preparations were made and celebration grew in more abundance. Eventually the forest settled down as the years went from months to weeks to days and upon the foreseen day a gathering was placed around the largest and oldest of the oaks in the wood (Legends and Lore, 93), a symbol of Rillifane Rallathil who is sometimes referred to as Gwyrdderwen, translating to green oak or more accurately Oak Green; this was due to two things 1) Rillifanes depiction to the priests is a huge living oak whose roots touch all the plants of Faerun and beyond. 2) On the rare occaisons that Rillifane actually visits the material plane he appears in a green skinned elf clothed in either bark armor or leaf scale. As the gathering was formed and the inhabitants started as customary in the dance around the giant oak, the magic of the forest became alive and at the break of dawn out of the mists of the forest came Rillifane with a male elven babe in one hand and his bow in the other with a hawk perched on the shoulder of the divine being. The elf child was strange as it carried characteristics of both Rillifane with green palms as well as white blonde hair, of which was not common among the wood elves, except among the albino which existed among all races of elves including the drow (Drow of the Underdark, 5); the elf was then blessed by the priests and soon inquired of Rillifane and found that the child was not infact a direct decendant but a chosen elf among them to later grow in diligence and favor of his patron. The priests inquired upon how the elf babe should be raised and was left to their own will. Thus the priest left the child with the third niece of a noble elven women, though herself was not noble. The equinox went on without further consequence and so did the child. No matter how strong the albino elf was he could not match the strength of the majority of the elves nor had the capability to withstand the elven fires and would often retreat to the shaded woods outside and was then left to the studies of the elven in his early years. Upon reaching his twentieth birthday however he was greeted by a more tragic part of his life...
Sarahia was the elven mother chosen to care for the child and had done well in keeping the child humble, kind, and unaware of the destiny before him despite his strange appearance, she did this through the migration to the north where he was to be raised for the first few years of his life, this kept him mostly hidden from the dangers of corruption of nobility. However that did not stop others who were filled with hunger for divine power to pass upon the quieted news of the child, as elves are good in the quieting of lore. The one to come across this lore however happened to be Xadrias, a very young boisterous half-elven wizard asassin who had prestige among those who tortured and killed with his magic arts and bow alike. Xadrias had come across the lore when visiting his latest target of bounty and took the liberty of browsing the hidden library for any spells that would be of no more use to the poor corpse now with a face wracked with a grimace that only an evil outsider could compare. As he read the information he immediately set out for preparation. That same year Sarahia and Zoghtiger were out in the forest carefully tending to the roots of the trees when the assasin had come into sight and killed her with negative energy. Zoghtiger fled in horror but his weak endurance and strange coloration made him an easy target. Before Zoghtiger could scream all went black...
Zoghtiger awoke in a cage of crystal and hanging from the cealing. The pains that Zoghtiger went through wracked his keen wisdom of nature but kept still his intellegence. Week after week the magical torture went on bringing the elf to his limit through the use of augmentation. However for every spell cast a tiny sliver of crystal broke off into sparks and Zoghtiger had learned to work with those when finding himself not observed. Zoghtiger then planned his escape for the following week. As the days passed Zoghtiger would press his green palms against the crystal bars rubbing and chipping off small pieces. The day had arrived and the elfs plans went into action. Zoghtiger broke through the bars and fled to the nearby platform jabbing the magic obsorbant crystals into every magical device he could see and breaking them upon each other, where upon he fled blindly through the corridor as the room behind him buzzed with magical energy. As he finally fled through the front doors he looked in every direction. He then headed toward Turmish as it was the nearest road point he saw. After several weeks of scaveging and running becoming fatigued he finally reached the forest outside the city of Turmish and was greeted upon by the druids of the enclave, some of whom were old enough to have heard of or visited during that holy day. Zoghtiger was then taken in by the druids and was trained for the next 110 years by various teachers most of whom were able to teach him little in the wisdom of nature. Zoghtiger left the company of the druids a short time later to find more information on the Assasin who had just over a century ago had murdered his mother and tortured his soul. After all his travels he finally stopped outside the gates of Isighold and had finally learned the name of the killer, Xadrias...
In his travels he had also learned of Rillifane Rallathil and is a very loyal worshiper of him. He had learned of his weaknesses and continues to grow in strength and wisdom and grows continually in the knowledge of faerun...
((I know that this is short and I skipped several details, if you are curious about any of it please tell/pm me and I will rephrase or give more input on it.))
