Adrian spent much of his life living in the High Forest in a small barrow along with his family and near his friends. He spent some time among the elves, but was mostly a homebody until a tribe of orcs came into the forest.
The Orcs came in a relentless tide smashing through elven lines and chopping through the forest. Halflings fled before the horde and elven warriors covered their retreat. Adrian stood next to an elven warrior in shining chain mail wielding a longsword. He watched as the elf was struck down from behind and stared at the orc that did it. It was then that he felt his true calling.
Adrian picked up the fallen elf's longsword and called out, "Justice! In the name of Tyr I demand justice!"
The orc laughed at him until it was skewered. Adrian stood with the elves of his home forest and helped fight the tide of evil. When it was over the orc tribe retreated leaving Adrian staring at his destroyed home. It represented comfort, and idleness a tempting offer, but not what the halfling craved.
He set off down the road tracking the remnants of the Orc tribe and protecting people from their depredations. He slowly lost track of the remnants of the tribe until one night he had a vision. It was Cormyr and it was crying out with a need for justice.
