On the deck of a small schooner merchant ship, a man in black plate mail watches the arrival into a small port. As he rubbed his shaved for head with three tattooed red circles, he could see the small walls of the still small town he had not seen in many months. During that time he had returned to Thay for training in the homeland that he might better serve the Red Wizards. Upon the completion of the training, he took passage on this schooner. It had headed off from Thay a fortnight ago carrying Thayan goods for the enclave.
As the small ship docked, he looked around the bustling little farm town from the railing of the ship. As the plank was lowered onto the dock, he walked off the ship with his gear and began to walk about. Right away he noticed there had been changes. No more warriors and mages in blue and silver, the Silver Shields walking about. He still remembers the time when he and the Red Wizard he has worked for as a body guard, Melkroth, lead around Lady Sharita the Enclave when it was new. He had some time before he had to guard the caravan transporting the goods to the enclaive as they were taken off the ship.
He wondered about the exploits of Red Wizard Melkroth in his absence in Thay. Outside of the Griffon Inn, he saw what appeared to be some local adventurers sitting about a table relaxing. Also commotion between a half-orc and a man was occurring; something that in Thay would not occur due to half-orcs inferior status to humans, but here in Cormyr he can not say anything. Melkroth has taught him the local tradition, beliefs, and laws that they could respect them in hope to encourage trade with Cormyr. Still he is strict in follow the codec ways of Thay in his behavior for himself. He walked up to the pair of adventurers, a man and a woman. “Excuse me ye two, might I ask ye a question?” he asked the pair.
The man with shoulder length hair responded back with a nod, “You may go ahead and ask.” The woman turned her gaze as well up to the man of Thay.
“I am wondering if ye might tell me of the where abouts of a wizard who goes by the name of Melkroth,” he asked the pair.
“We know of the name aye, but do not know the man personally. Might we know why you wish to know?” the woman asked him.
“He and I use to work together as fellow countrymen. I’ve been gone many months and hope to meet up with him again,” the warrior answered.
“I believe he was hunged. Something about being a traitor,” the woman said.
The warrior looked the two over and then nodded. “Thank you for the information,” he said and turned to leave.
As he was walking back to the docks to meet up with the caravan, a man in black with a hood came up to him. This man was arguing with the half-breed he saw earlier. “I know where you might find him. Who is asking though?” the mysterious man asked.
“Kence Leobane. On what terms do you tell me?” Kence replied while looking the man over.
“For free. Look for an ank in a grave yard outside of the enclave south of here. There you shall find your answer,” the man told Kence. Kence nodded and went back to the docks to meet up with the caravan to head to the enclaive.

After seeing the caravan was safely inside the enclaive, Kence went outside and wandered the graveyard. He came upon the ank grave and read it.
“Here lies Melkorth Malice the traitor.”
He rubbed his head and then shrugged. Many Red Wizards end up dead due to their own schemes or their fellows hunting them down. Many Red Wizards dabbled in necromancy he knew as well allowing them to cheat death though this is not his business. He thinks to himself he’ll keep an ear open to hear wear abouts of a necromancer in Cormyr maybe, but for now he will offer his blade to Cormyr to aid her in her time of troubles as many soldiers and Thayan Knights in the enclaves do for their host country to encourage trade and trust. Kence would wait as well for another Red Wizard who goes into Cormyr in need of a body guard.
