A nondescript Moon elf wizard wandering through Cormyr, having heard good things about the place. His last port of call was Evermeet, though he has wandered through Battledale and the Silver Marches in times past (servers).
He seeks to excel at all things traditionally elven, and is quietly proud of his heritage. He is generous and, if within his power, will gladly lend his aid to good causes. He never lies, but is amused by allowing others to draw false conclusion from impressions he gives. Similarly, he prefers to conceal his strengths and weaknesses. Like most elves, he enjoys subtle humour. (NG)
Currently, Aeldre is clad in the robes of an Illusionist, but is actually a very much an Enchanter. He welcomes discourse on the various schools of magic. In truth, he thinks Illusion is much too fluffy, Evocation is showy and wasteful, and Necromancy is decidedly gloomy. No spells from those schools may be found in his spellbook, except for the 'purest' sorts of evocation spells (Magical damage spells). He uses traditional elven enchantment tactics to incapacitate foes, relying on his elven sleeplessness and resistance to enchantments to escape harm from his own spells. For this reason and others, he prefers to journey with elves. Notwithstanding Aeldre's surface deceptions, he typically enjoys a direct approach to problems. He would rather Charm than persuade.
Beyond Aeldre's strength as an enchanter, he also applies his skill with the longsword directly to the trunks, limbs and necks of foes. He wears a chain shirt and a scabbarded longsword beneath his robes. Again, symptomatic of his preference to conceal strength.

, is the name taken by his pixie familar.
