Left with the guard captain at the western gate.
Council members,
As a paladin of Tyr in good standing with the church of Tyr, I hereby officially condemn the bounty on Ramona the Talos worshiper as being unjust.
She is a worshiper of a god I hate on deep principle, and while she is guilty of many things, this bounty that has been placed is in direct contradiction to the idea of just law.
She did not break a law by speaking out against what was going on. Therefore, her resisting the arrest when it was attempted was in her rights, since an individual has the right to resist an unjust or corrupt law being used against them, or in this case, a law that does not exist.
Pett is a drunk, and has often shown he is more willing to abuse the law out of petty self interest then in defense of good law and order and the upholding of justice. I will no longer turn a blind eye to this. If I see this pattern continue, I will feel I have no path to take but an official, and public, condemnation not only of Pett, but also of the council of greatgaunt, and I will inform my superiors of what I feel is a grave, and repeating, corruption of justice and Tyr's holy domain.

Ser Callen,
The time has past when I am willing to give the council a chance at this. If they will not rescind the decision, nor meet with me, then as a paladin of Tyr I have no choice but to declare the government here as unjust.
Understand that this is a serious thing. It opens up a slew of options for me to use, up to and including rebellion to overthrow the corrupt local council and estabilsh someone loyal to the crown of Cormyr and in line with the beliefs of tyr.
I don't particularly wish to do this, but if the pattern continues then I have no choice. If you will meet with me an assure me that this pattern will cease, I hope we can come to a more peaceful settlement.
Ever vigilant,
Ser Edthin Vidry, Knight of the Order of the Merciful Blade Paladin of Tyr Lawkeeper of Tyr
