Born in the city of Waterdeep, Kimli Helgin was brought up under the tutelage of his father, a famed craftsman of armor and a dwarven defender of the land. He studied his father's arts persistently as a growing warrior, but, with his own unique finess, he has learned to master his sword of choice, the scimitar. Combining his talents of defense, swordsmanship, and general combat tactics, he has proven his potential to become a famed warrior of his era. After the sad passing of his father in a goblin raid, Kimli was lost to his path. He felt Waterdeep had failed him. He decided it was time to move on. Leaving his sister and mother behind he boarded the first departing ship at the docks, soon to arrive in a totally new world. Stepping back onto dryland in the new lands of Cormyr, he knew it was here that he would make his stand against evil. It was here he would make a name for himself that would reach his family back home, that would even reach his father. It was here he would earn the name Master Dwarf Kimli Helgin of Waterdeep.
