Character Description.
Name: Meroim Grentopple
Race: Lightfoot Halfling
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Hair Color: Black/Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 3 foot
Weight: 35 pounds
Appearance: Plump and jolly
Deity: Brandobaris
First impressions:
Meroim is a young halfling. He is of average build for at lightfoot halfling. When walking down a road, there seems to be a joyful attitude to it. As if he bounces along to the rhythm of a song he suddenly remembered. Meroim greets people with a smile and a nod. He enjoys a good laugh and tales told in the light of a fire. There doesn’t seem to be anything uptight about Meroim. When traveling, Meroim dresses in a leather armor of sorts. He has numerous bird feathers tied to his belt on his right side. In addition, he has numerous pouches tied around his waist. For protection (should there be a situation, that cannot be solved through charming conversation) Meroim favors his short sword. When Meroim isn't on the road, he garbs himself in pants, a vest, and a colorful shirt of sorts. Jolly, eager, and friendly seems to be words that fit this halfling.
Background
Meroim was brought up in Waterdeep. He was part of a halfling community, that occupied a neighborhood in Waterdeep. His father was a baker and his mother tended the home. As a young lad, Meroim often worked as a guide for adventures visiting Waterdeep. He would take the visitors to their desired locations for a few coins.
Growing up, Meroim spent a lot of time with his uncle, who gradually introduced him to the wonders of Brandobaris. As time passed, Brandobaris answered Meroim's calls, and took him in. When Meroim needed to relax, he would often be seen with friends at The Dancing Cyclops Tavern & Inn, dancing on the tables and winking at every waitress passing by.
Meroim is out on his World Walk. He set out from Waterdeep to gather world knowledge, and heed his call to Brandobaris.
Meroim collects small stones and bird feathers. He enjoys the thrill of finding and adding another ordinary stone or bird feather to his collection.
