Even the most learned sages are unlikely to know the name of Oghrann, which was an ancient Dwarven kingdom established thousands of years before the first Obarskyr ever set foot in what was to become Cormyr.
Although the original kingdom was lost generations ago, Oghrann’s legacy lives on. The Sign of the Realm of Oghrann can be found in deep caverns in the Sunset Mountains. It can also be found here and there in the Stormhorns, such as Dark Wind Pass, a high and perilous trail known to few beings alive today, that crosses the Stormhorns by way of old tunnels cut by the dwarves, east of Skull Crag. (The Sign is a curved hunting horn, open end to the left, with a six-pointed star above it, and another beneath it.) The remnants of Clan Oghrann are rumoured to have an outpost somewhere in the Storm Horns.
Today the legacy of Oghrann lives on in the form of Oghrann's Hammer, a dedicated group of Kinsdwarves who work to further the inscrutable agendas of the Dwarven folk in Cormyr. They are the only organized clan in the kingdom right now, and any Dwarves who find themselves in Cormyr and wish to add to the legacy of Oghrann are welcome to apply for the oath-taking.An ancillary group known as the Axes are composed of Dwarves who are either already oathsworn to another cause or who may someday apply themselves.
