To the High Priest/ess on duty:
I have been approached by a young lady that has requested my intercession on her behalf. She has been the recipient of a powerful curse, normally reserved for graverobbers, and the curse is slowly eating away at her. She claims that the curse was received after cleansing a crypt of an infestation of those that blaspheme Kelemvor's work; she specifically mentioned a Dracolich, with no less than three viable alternate bodies fully prepared for possession. She claims that in the process, a good amount of destruction was wrought; indeed, I can believe her word on this as such powerful undead are fairly destructive in nature. Apparently, some tombs were caught in the destruction, and their contents scattered. She claims she was thus cursed when she picked up a gemstone that had been so disturbed from its owner's resting place.
She has sought my intercession on her behalf, as higher priests of the faith than myself have turned her away upon sight of the curse mark without so much as listening to her story. She claims that there were others that participated in the cleansing of the crypt of the undead infestation that can bear witness to her story. As I am yet an initiate priestess, there is little more I can do for her, aside from administer her last rites once the curse finally overcomes her. I hope this letter finds wiser minds in charge that can judge her story, and remove this curse should it be judged that it be undeserved.
If an audience can be arranged for this lady to meet with the High Priest/ess in charge, or any priest/ess with the wisdom to judge the situation and the ability to remove the curse, I await only word of when such a meeting can take place.
