A man dressed in grey robes spends most of the night in a prayer vigil at the altar of Tyr. He is not seen to take any refreshment and does not appear to rest.

A figure in plate armor decorated with the symbols of Torm appears and quietly approaches the priest. She notices the one in grey in prayer and does not disturb the devotion. Instead she speaks quietly with high Priest. The figure is a frequent visitor and often comes to the temple as one that does Torm's work in the world.
"There is a plague affecting animals and it can affect humans brewing in the area of Valkurs Roar, the woods between Valkur's Roar and north of Greatgaunt. There is request that some of the holy warriors come to help with quarantine and the disease since they are immune to the disease and can help cure it." Morgaine says. She hopes that some of the paladins can be spared to help.

The same man returns, looking pale and drawn. He removes the kneeling-rug at the altar of Tyr and then raises the skirt of his robe to reveal strong calves and feet shod in soft brown half-boots.He removes these and places them next to the rug, then raises his robe further to his knees, placing them on the hard, cold tile floor. He then prostrates himself at the altar for many hours, never shifting his position. He finally stiffly rises, knees protesting with subtle cracks. He stumbles, almost falling over as blood rushes back to his lower limbs. He shoves his feet into the half-boots and limps outside, into the pre-dawn light.
