A message is delivered to the shrine of Malar. The message indicates that Loviatan Priestess Zodika is wishing an audience with either a head of the shrine or an authority to speak for, at least, a majority of the faithful. Zodika indicates she is easy to locate, though she will return back in a few days if she has not been approached in person or by mail left at the Wheel.

A man clad in redish brown furs and the odd salvaged piece of armor, wielding a heavily armored clawed bracer, steps into the shrine. As he steps forward, sharp brown eyes fix upon the message left behind. He reads it over before issuing an ambiguous snort to himself. After ensuring he's alone at the shrine, he takes a knee by the altar, placing a sizeable sum of gold on the stone slab before clasping the talisman of wolf fangs lining his neck and murmuring a prayer. As he rises to his feet and turns for the door, he mutters to himself...
”I suppose I'd better take care of this before I rejoin the others.”
A short time later, the same man arrives at the Wailing Wheel and leaves a letter with the innkeeper with only a few choice words to spare before departing once more.
”For Zodika of the Willing Whip and no one else.”
