Is there a spell for hair removal? If so, what level is it? Does it last like waxing?

Oddly enough, I had this come up in RP a few days back.
It was said that one could enact a special curse (should they learn how, somehow) on themselves that would keep hair from growing.

I mean something selective, that a woman would use. I'm sure a wizard would have invented it.

The level 0 cantrip (arcane-only) prestidigitation would possibly do the trick. It depends on how technical you want to be. Prestidigitation can be used to move, clean, or soil something. Hair removal could constitute moving (removing) the hair from the follicle.

This is an awesome idea. I think it would be most fun to RP that the hair comes back after an hour, but sure, I think this spell would do it.

Well, I look at it as a movement effect, sort of like a magical Brazilian wax--just removing the hair from the follicle. I assume it takes longer but is less painful than a Brazilian wax. It wouldn't be good for a haircut but it might be popular for the fashionable baldness of the Red Wizards or for some human ladies and gents that prefer "that elven look."

While I personally think Prestidigitation can handle the job, as hair removal seems like it should be a cantrip-grade effect, I could see someone objecting to the idea that hair removal is a "move" effect with prestidigitation. I have in the past used Prestidigitation for just such an effect on my (multiple) arcane spellcasters on FRC. (My arcane spellcasters are still in the Old Vault presently.)
If you object to prestidigitation, the next best spell I can offer is Unseen Servant.
I still say the prestidigitation cantrip can do the job, but unseen servant likely can as well.

Fireball should also work. I'd go with Combust! Extended.

I think thay have that effect in the tattoos. But I wouldn't create one spell to do this we've spitballed and come up with 3 viable and one nuclear option for hair removal. Each mage should have their own style for dealing with this, unseen groomer being my fave.

Kali makes her hair removal tincture from the rare purple belladonna plant found only in the deepest recesses of the Tun.
