*A metal box decorated with the sigil of a warhorn between two six-pointed stars is delivered to Brias the War Wizard in the Wild Wolf Inn. When it's opened, a message on a slate slab reads simply:*
I request a meeting with you or other representatives of the Crown who do dwell in Skull Crag, to discuss an important matter pertaining to the welfare of Clan Oghrann. You may leave word here with Loremaster and Longbeard Glaren Greybeard, or attempt to deliver a letter to me in Thrymgavin itself, though it's likely you'll be forced to leave a reply with our Gatewardens.
With honor,
Alaghor Torgar Dorgarsson of Clan Kuldrorn, Oghrann's Hammer

The War Wizard looks at the messenger when the box is delivered.
"Hold a moment."
The messenger pauses having already turned, eager to distance himself from the War Wizard. Slowly he turned back to face the War Wizard by the book case. Damn, it was cold in this room. Teeth chattering he spoke, "Yes, Master Wizard?"
The War Wizard opens the box and removes a small pane of slate.
"Azuth's beard, they should learn to use parchment."
Brias reads the writing with a bored expression. He turns the slate this way and that, looking at it from various angles before handing it to the messenger.
The messenger looked down at the slate and back up to the War Wizard in confusion.
"You can tell the dwarf to come to the inn himself and await audience with me. There's beer enough."
The messenger looked down at the slate in his hands and back to the War Wizard once more.
Brias paid him no mind, looking instead at the metal box. "Good for spell components, at least."
