Ielenia “Nia” (capital I)
Just past age of minority, Nia is incredibly young and just barely adult for elves, physically and mentally. However, as the elves go, she may still be considered a kid by most. (This means she’s in her 30s, going off the forums posts on elves, though this can change if it must). frc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=frclotlraces&action=display&thread=8758
Height: 4’7” (140 cm)
Weight: 74 lbs. (34 kg)
Eyes: Blue with gold flecks
Skin: Blue tinged as per her heritage
Heritage (subrace): Moon elf.
Build: Nia has a very petite fine build, as if she has suffered poor growth and a failure to thrive.
Hair: dark blue as per her heritage
Description:
Nia appears to be weak and frail, like she spent more of her childhood in bed than out playing and so forth. She tends to keep herself fully covered, but this seems to be more because she’s staying warm than any need to conceal herself from view. Her hood stays on except indoors, this is to keep her ears warm not to conceal her face. When her hood is down any light in the area makes her skin and ears appear almost translucent and ethereal (due to the blue skin tone she has). Nia tends to observe everything that goes on around her and in fact sometimes zones when too much is going on around her at once (this is to explain my tendency to do this when there is far too much text for me to follow, I have problems tuning things out that aren’t relevant to what I’m doing.)
Nia has several tattoos of flowering vines that intertwine up her arms and around her torso. The most prominent of these are the Hanali’s hearts she has tattooed on the back of both her hands, as if they are flowers sprouting from these vines. All her vine tattoos converge over her heart which also has a larger Hanali’s heart tattoo over it, this seems to be the centerpiece and focus of her tattoos, when one sees it.
Nia also has several wicked looking scars, though concealed by her hair, around the base and back of her skull. An injury received five years ago which is why Nia has no memories of her childhood or past, when asked she’ll state she’s “five” in her recollections though she’s obviously older than that. She also states she doesn’t know how old she actually is.
Clothing:
Nia tends to wear things of a distinctly elven nature in make. She also likes to wear dark greens to blend in with the surrounding forests and fields easier. Her clothing is generally heavier and warmer than most clothing, especially the coverings for her legs.
History so far:
Nia was found and saved after an accident she was involved with in Baldur’s Gate that involved a runaway oxen cart and her being, basically, gored and thrown across the street, through some crates, and almost clean through a wooden wall. She almost didn’t survive. Her savior was a half elven man who called Baldur’s Gate his home, unfortunately her savior owed a few favors to a local thieves guild that was operating outside the purview of the main guild in the city.
Nia acted as a lookout and scout for this guild during their activities for 3 years, however the guild leader was later assassinated by the main guild and her savior told her to flee Baldur’s Gate before the main guild came looking for the rest of this crew. It is unknown what happened to him; however he may or may not show up in Cormyr if another Player wishes to make him.
(While I’m not requesting a player to do so, I leave the offer open to anyone. The half elf was good to Nia and was overprotective like a father to her, is really the only thing that needs to be kept in consideration.)
Nia traveled the roads and byways of Fearun for a couple of years after she fled Baldur’s Gate, meeting another half elven man from the Yuirwood that recognized her tattoos and taught her a little of Elven faith and history, He is the one that provided her Hanali’s heart tattoos. This person separated from Nia near Cormyr heading in a different direction.
Nia had always been curious about magic and decided, after fleeing Baldur’s Gate, to head towards Cormyr because she had heard of the war wizards and wanted to go learn from them. She traveled to Cormyr and met Entori who subsequently took her in as apprentice.
And thusly her adventures in Cormyr began.
