Lionel is well-built, fit and handsome by most people's standards and while still in his mid-twenties has a world-weary expression most of the time.
He stands about Six Feet and Two Inches in height, and around 200 lbs, the musculature evident in the way he carries himself. He has an authoritative air, that of a veteran soldier.
He wears simply-cut but fastidiously clean grey robes with red trim about the shoulders and red cords tied around his wrists. Around his neck and visible at all times is a small red garnet fashioned into a rose.
When not robed and in full harness he wears a white red-trimmed tabard with a large cloth-of-silver cross embroidered, over plain unadorned adamantine plate with chain sewn into the vulnerable joints.
His eyes are soft and kind, and a smile is never far from his lips. His manner of speech is archaic.
