To whom it may concern,
In recent moments I was speaking to a man about a simple brawl my friend was involved in, as brawls are simple affairs, when a wizard named Vlaric Spellrune spoke up and say if anyone ever punched him, for any reason, he would immediately cast death magic on them.
Now, I don't know entirely what your organization is made for, but I understand this is exactly the sort of thing that would be wrong and needs to be controlled. Mages running around saying they'll death-spell people in a bar brawl if they punch them (his exact words) no matter the cause are abusing their magic and a danger to decent people
And he just stood grinning and sayign that the war wizards and the law would be on his side because it's 'self defense'. That's like fireballing a town because they kicked out out for rude behavior.
He seems to believe any attack on him, even something like a friendly punchup in a bar, an event which happens nightly in almost all taverns across Toril, is worthy of responding with incredible magics.
Begging your pardon, but this isn't right. He's often about Greatgaunt and I beg you to bring him to heel before he kills someone innocent with his mad view on the world.
