Build of a dancer or gymnast.
She is by no means unattractive, but compared to the legendary beauties that seem to be the norm in the area, she comes of as plain.
Born to a chambermaid after a noble *allegedly* took fancy to her, and they did what tends to happen when pretty charismatic men take fancy to impressionable young women. Oddly enough her *alledged* father had enough decency to acknowledge his dalliance, (Or at least not leave the woman out on her own.) and she was raised in the same house as a playmate for his legitimate children. Even more amazing was the lack of any real spite towards her from her father's wife. All in all a pretty good life for one with such a beginning.
When she came of age she was eventually married off to a fairly competent merchant of some means and all seemed well. Pity she caught her husband and one of her sisters. (another of her father's indiscretions.)
Five years later she shows up in Cormyr with a new name, and some training in the monastic arts.
