Salutations Lady Lhal,
In my possession, I hold a Cromyrian adventure charter, for which I aim to put to use for your good city. Those in my profession are often left with the spoils of our handy-work; old weapons, battered but functional armor, food stuffs, supplies, etc. More often than not, these items get sold to the nearest merchant for a meager amount of coin and quickly forgot about. I know your good city isn't exactly "war-torn" anymore and progressively rebuilding, but I cannot help but to wonder if these items could not be better put to use in defense and continued reconstruction of your city.
From one single encounter with an orcish tribe, I secured and distributed the following items to the people of your city;
* x25 crossbow bolts and x209 Arrows given to guards manning towers
* One leather belt (A bit worn) to a homeless man named Pete
* x2 daggers, x2 longswords, a greataxe, and a battleaxe all of orcish make to a man named "Finn" who needed metal to open a smithy
* x2 torches given to nightwatchmen/guards who have evening watches in the streets
* A Rucksack and a waterskin was given to a Purple Dragon leaving on tour
* A steel battleaxe and 4x potions of cure minor wounds given to the garrison
* A silver goblet, a basket of freshly picked strawberries, x4 cuts of dried and salted pork, and one cut of dry and salted venison donated to the Ale House
* x8 leather pelts donated to the local tannery
With your leave, I plan to make a habit of this. However, I wonder if it would not be simpler to coordinate with your seneschal a way to organize a place drop off these supplies. This would allow your direct access to whatever is found and would make it easier for them to get distributed to people in need.
I have friends, also adventures, who I plan to contact and ask to contribute. With so many hands at work with this, these donations could pile up swiftly. If it please you, I can also keep tallies and inventory of what is donated.
In between my adventures, I can usually be found helping out with repairs and tasks needing done around the city. Should you choose to reply, I have a room at the Ale House.
Thank you graciously for your time.
Sincerely,
~Fiona Lightfellow
