I'm sure I've seen this information somewhere but my search-magic isn't too magical just now. Can somebody please tell me what the names of the written alphabets are? I mostly want the names of the Common and Elven runic sets, but it would probably be handy for others if a complete list can be given in one place. As always, thanks in advance for any help.

Taken from FRCS:
"The human and humanoid languages of Faerun make use of six sets of symbols for writing: Thorass, a human symbology; Espruar, a script invented by the elves; Dethek, runes created by the dwarves; Draconic, the alphabet of dragons; Celestial, imported long ago through contact with good folk from other planes, and Infernal, imported through those outsiders of a fiendish bent."
Aglarondan, Dambrathan, and Undercommon use the elven (Espruar) alphabet.
Alzhedo, Chessenten, Chondathan, Common, Durpari, Illuskan, Midani, Rashemi, Tuigan, Turmic, and Uluik use the Thorass alphabet.
Chultan, Halruaan, Lantanese, Nexalan and Shou use the Draconic alphabet.
Damaran, Shaaran, Tashalan, and Untheric use the Dethek alphabet.
Mulhorandi uses the Celestial alphabet.
The Thayan dialect of Mulhorandi uses the Infernal alphabet.

There is also Hammarfae, the script of the Seldruin language of the ancient elves before they left Tintageer. It was known on Toril kind of like Latin was in the Middle Ages, and was possibly spoken as the language of choice in Miyeritar, but is gone now. Not many people should have knowledge of Hammarfae runes.
