A note is left on the board of the Regal Griffon. It is written in firm bold strokes, though is very breif.
Friend,
I wish to hear the tune again.
P.D.S.
There is nothing further to suggest for whom the note is for nor who wrote it.

A small nondescript note, written on standard parchment in firm bold strokes is left on the board.
Friend,
I have a new music sheet for you to look at.

The previous note, is replaced with another. Again, it is written on plain paper, and there is nothing to suggest who left it here.
"Friend, The song is not yet ready. P.D.S."

Friend,
The tune begins slowly and is quite calming, as a gentle breeze through the leaves of a tree, yet the rhyme remains elusive.

Written on what appears to be a wine stained parchment, the letters are flowing and precise.
Dear Friend,
Though I have visited many taverns and inns, I have yet to hear the tune as well played. I look forward to hearing the melody once more.
