After spending several days in Redmist recovering in the shock and anger of the incident in the inn there, Torian returns to Isinhold. She heads straight for the Regla Griffon with the intent of just going straight to her room when she hears her name being called. Turning she sees Kale waving her over.
"I have a message for you, Miss Thistledown," the barkeep says, producing a small piece of paper.
"Thank you, Kale," Torian replies, then opens and reads the letter, tears coming to her eyes once again. When she finishes she nods once, then looks away.
"Might you be needing a drink, miss?" Kale asks, gently putting a hand on her shoulder.
Torian nods and grabs a seat near th bar. "Yes... The usual... Your strongest and cheapest... I'm really going to need it now."
