Recently, a Greatgaunt militiaman by the name of Sir Callen has been harassing adventurers, threatening to jail them simply for being present in the central square. This is an unlawful misuse of militia authority, and this militiaman should be reprimanded for such.
In addition to harassment of adventurers who have done no harm to the town, and in truth have defended the town alongside the greatgaunt militia time and time again, Sir Callen has also willfully obstructed the business of any merchants present in the square. This is in direct violation of the laws he is charged with upholding. Sir Callen should be held liable for the fine for unlawful hindrance of business of the merchant Radagast.
Finally, the bard Frubo should have some reparations paid to him, for the unlawful harassment of adventurers by this militiaman has thinned his audiences considerably.

Greetings Mister "C",
When the square is too full of adventurers it hinders the travel and trade of actual citizens of the town. Sir Callen is a retired Purple Dragon Knight, and in good standing with us. It is not a misuse of power to call the square to vacate when a potential issue could occur from overcrowding. While we appreciate the aid adventurers have given us, their antics endanger our fair village as often as they save it. There has recently been an attack that nearly leveled our fair village as well, so extra security has been taken into consideration.
Furthermore the village of Greatgaunt has a merchant's building that was paid for by our taxes so merchants do not display their wares or interrupt the peace of the town by turning it into a bazaar. It was constructed for merchants and it is preferable that it be utilized.
*simply signed*
