[The following letter is left at the Laughing Lass in Suzail for Siriandur.]
Siriandur,
I hope your fortunes hold enough that you are not reading this with a loaf of moldy breaf and stale wine in hand. If I can distract you long enough from the whims of fortune or your search for a wealthy heiress, I would like to speak soon on a matter of urgence and import. You know some of the places I frequent and make camp, but more often than not, I follow where the winds blow. Therefore, leave message for me here where and when you are able.
Until then, I pray favorable winds find you, Oenemi Hawksong

Greetings little owl,
In truth I would not have received this letter without you informing me of its existence first, I travel to new places to test my fortune now, if I had a fortune to test that is!
You have seem troubled lately, it has not escaped my attention, I will meet you where'ere you can. Unfortunate that both of us never stay in one place too long. I will curb my wanderings for a time if you may do the same. Perhaps that quiet valley off the western road near Suzail?
In any case, I will spare you clichéd maxims or adages, now or later after we've met, lest the opportunity prove too irresistible! But I would ask a boon of you nevertheless. Worry yourself not over what troubles you so, birds never were made to worry, and that especially includes owls. It simply doesn't suit you. Rejoice in the fact that whatever troubles have come your way, the sweet winds will always be able to guide you above, and carry you far away from your dangers, your worries, and your sorrows. See to it that you do not forget what you are.
Till next we meet little owl, Siriandur Ama'nowael
