Last night Tarithel Novar could be seen running around the square in front of the inn looking for Bentin and accusing one Miss Genna of attacking her on the south road. When Miss Genna eventually arrives in the company of a hin, a man, and another woman, flaming sword brandished, the guard asks her to put away the sword but takes no further action on the grounds of the attack having taken place outside the city walls.
When the application of the law was apparently quite different form what Tarithel had expected and it was even discussed putting her in jail, too, she stomped off to the inn fuming.
Next day she can be seen heading for the local garrison growling and muttering to herself something about "Attacking people outside the city is fine ... first I hear of it" or "That's what you get for trying to be nice ... or trusting in other people to fend for you."
