Portrait
Phenotype
Eyes: Gray-Blue
Hair: Dark Blonde/Light Brown
Skin: Well Tanned
Height: 5'11"
Age (Apparent): Late Twenties
Description
The man you see before you emits a rather warm, social aura. He seems to be at ease with others, quick to jest and quicker to laugh. His lighthearted persona carries over to his expression, and the gentle but firm features of his face help to silently convey that feeling as well. The perpetual presence of stubble on his face adds to his relaxed and amicable demeanor, though it seems as if no amount of shaving would be able to clear it anyways.
His hair, wavy and a dark shade of blonde, falls to his shoulders. It always appears tousled. The irises in his eyes are a shady blue-grey, a color that brings to one's mind the image of a cloudy sky. His skin is tanned, as if he's seen his fair share of the sun for quite awhile.
He is never seen without the rapier belted at his waist, one that always seems to be supporting the weight of his arm as he rests his hand on its hilt. He walks with a subtle swagger, causing a soft jingle from the bells on each of his otherwise unadorned boots. Each of his earlobes holds a single, small hooped earring. His height, for a human, is average if not an inch or two less than so, but then again he is always slouching.
These all make the man that is Julius d'Amore, and they are things that one would notice in a conversation or two with him, or even just in passing observation.
Trademark Quirks
When in town or in various social settings, Julius can be seen wearing a midnight blue cloak that sets him apart from his companions. Woven into the rich, dark blue fabric that drapes around his shoulders and rises up to his jaw line are a large number of tiny, silvery stars. The sheer number of minuscule stars adorning the entire length of his cloak entail months of work from a rather talented seamstress, but what is more is the pattern with which they have been placed. If one would look closely enough it would be apparent that a majority of the stars have been placed into different groups, his entire cloak housing the most popular constellations to be seen along the Sword Coast.
The asymmetrical hat this swashbuckling gentleman sports has a wide brim that curves up on one side. The feather it supports varies from outfit to outfit, but it always appears to have a slight metallic look to it. His hat is never fully pulled onto his head. Instead, it always seems to sit at a slant that compliments the upwards curve of the hat's wide brim. Should the hat lose its precise angle or be pulled flat onto his head while he is in combat, he will always make sure to re-adjust it after all is said and done. During times of boredom or while in idle conversation he may reach up with one hand, tugging lightly at the brim of his hat.
Julius wears loud boots. They are not an obnoxious sort of loud, but rather provide sound with every movement his feet make. Attached to his high, upturned boots are shiny silver bells that jingle softly upon every step he takes. These bells are not akin to those of an animal's; they are more like a musician's bells, their sound precise and pleasant to the ear. They sound musical as they jingle rhythmically to his every swaggering step.
