Name: Aedyr Gawae
Race: Tue’Tel’Quessir (Moon Elf)
Eyes: Viridian Green
Tattoos: A tattoo of a silver wolf encircling two cubs has been artistically etched from the middle of his back to cover the whole upper right part of his shoulder and back. The wolf seems to have been intricately drawn with painstaking detail. The creature appears to be in movement while its head has been cocked to appear if it is looking right back at you in a protective fashion. The muscles of the wolf seem to have been drawn in a tensed fashion as if to leap at you with an incorrect movement.
Appearance: Frosty white locks hang down past the shoulders of the lithe ranger. Woven intricately into various strands of hair are a multitude of ornamental flowers varying in hues of the darkest emerald to the palest of blues. Angular features are common place on this lithe figure and vibrant, viridian hued eyes look out over the world with a keen self confidence. The skin that covers the youthful elf has been gently kissed by the sun to offer only the faintest of golden hues. His hands show the physical labors that he has endured through the years as they are covered in calluses.
The various types of garments that the elf tends to adorn are those of leathers which tend to blend in well with the surrounding forests. Often times, dangling from his neck is a pendant of Sehanine Moonbow. When out in the comforts of the wild, the youthful elf can be seen with a multitude of weapons that adorn his gear. In a scabbard hanging from his belt, most often a long sword is visible while a longbow remains comfortably slung over his shoulder. Pair of shorts words is often seen cross-sheathed across his back so that the full range of his arsenal is ready for whatever may come.
History: Aedyr has only recently arrived in the Cormyr and the reason for his arrival, he feels, comes from his patron deity, Sehanine Moonbow. Aedyr wasn’t always a wanderer however, having been born in the united lands of old Luruar which is the modern day Silver Marches.
Having been raised in the Moonwood, Aedyr has never been around vast amounts of people. This has helped to shape his personality. As a child, Aedyr's family belonged to a vigilant group of guardians that often assisted the various states with the many menaces that lurk in the depths of the northern Moonwood. Aesyridae Ea Bael’Giel, known in common as The Guardians of Sleepless Dreams, were a vigilant group of rangers, druids and even some warriors and clerics who turned their back on civilized life. It was through one of these High Priests of Sehanine that taught him about the paths that are laid before each elf and how it is by the grace of the goddess’ hand that they reach the fate they were destined to achieve.
Aedyr was so moved by the priest that he joined in the service to the goddess, following a path much different than that of the traditional guardian which tended to favor Rillifane or Solonar. It wasn’t until about the age of one hundred and forty that Aedyr set out, leaving his position as a sentinel in the guardians to seek out a greater destiny for which, or perhaps not, the Seldarine has planned for him. With nothing more than a pouch of coins, a suit of studded leather made of cured and treated deerskin, a simple long sword, a pair of shorts words and a traditionally crafted longbow, Aedyr set out for the lands that lie in wait, curious as to what adventures wait for him.
