Pamphlets and posters strewn through out The Bramble & Greatgaunt read:
"Tonight our agents attacked a caravan preparing for departure from Isinhold to Skull Crag. This fire bombing is the first strike of a series of random attacks based on political targets, The WLF hereby warns all citizens of "The Western Reaches" to avoid areas, buildings, people, and events related to the political interests of Cormyr!"

those questioning commoners of the fire would hear a common story a woman in dark garb with her hood pulled low entered through the southern gate walking with a strut past the ticketer she casually drew a bottle from her hip and tossed it into the carriage setting it ablaze she mumbled a few garbled words and with a few swift gestures she vanished a man of short stature runs toward the town square shouting of fire and a large group returns to aid the ticketer in dowsing the flames

Making his way north through the Bramble, a gold-cloaked male spies a pamphlet nailed to a tree. Upon reading it a snarl grows over his face.
departure from Skull Crag... "Idiots. We were inbound from Valkur's Roar, part of their so-called sovereign state."
based on political targets... "Kiss my skinny elven ass. They bombed us, not some political target."
"You want to play with fire, I know how to make you eat some. Bring it on."

*stifling a yawn on his way to a bed, a man in black with a teal turban glances over a poster and mutters:*
"i wasn't aware caravans carrying simple travelers are a 'political interest.' i wonder how many citizens of the 'Western Reaches' were burned 'for their own sake'..."
*the man shrugs to himself in answer to his own question and plods wearily to Kale's counter for a key and a hunk of bread*

Upon her return, Tanya Steel hears the news of the attack . . . she nods in confirmation of the knowledge and walks away with a purposeful stride, muttering quietly to herself . . . "Time to go back to work . . ."
