An unorganized collection of writings fill this leather bound volume. The writing goes from all ranges of neat to messy with some pages pristine and others stained with water, blood, and ale. One of the passages is as follows:
Home. Four years it has been since I last crossed the border of Cormyr. With my father's death I'd have thought my feelings for this land would be numb yet as I breath in the sweet air again I am taken back to happier days.
The border crossing was uneventful enough. I arrive in a border town called Greatgaunt. Unusual place I must say. No shortage of adventuring types, most looking for profit of some form.
Its been a long road, but the night is clear and beautiful. I will give thanks to the Lady of Silver and then take rest.
