Alright, I was going to ask Alizarin, but my search skills have fallen apart and I can't find it so here goes. In relation to the attack on Evermeet in 1371, how well known would the events be to elves and non elves in FRC? I assume there would be lore modifiers varying from the general question that it occured, graduating in difficulty up to who was responsible and who they were allied with. I've no idea how well known it would be for non elves as opposed to elves. Sorry about being vague but I'm not really sure how to phrase the question. *edit* While I'm here, might as well ask about the Demon Fey attack on Evereska and the follow up events in Myth Drannor. Thanks.

my characters history stemmed from the attack on Evermeet, As far as I was told was "don't spread it" Also, that he knows about it as much as a citizen of evermeet would know, but those of evermeet know of it, and it's more of a IC finding out thing. AS for the demon fey attack on tower reloich and the events of everseka, and the last mythal series, I've been told that they don't happen untuill.. very soon. I know from just checking that it is effecting the dales from the demons around. thats happened in 9 elaisethas of this year IG which is August As far as I know, it's not until close to august that it becomes an all our war, and given our setting, and evereska's secrecy we may not get much of it untill around then if Any at all. because most of what happens happens either in secret, or between sembians/dalelands/ evereskians/ evermeetians. but I'm eager to see what does happen

I am following this very closely as well since I have considered shelving my character for a time to "go participate" in the Crusade.
In accordance with the timeline, Tower Reilloch has already been attacked on Evermeet, and in my mind that info may have made its way to some individuals in Cormyr. The reasons behind it and such would not I would think as they are yet undiscovered and/or certainly not general knowledge.
In my mind I was thinking that the next significant thing FRC Elves might hear would be of the attacks on Elf villages in the High Forest in the beginning of March. Also in mid-March the enemy moves on Evereska and Miritar's Army begins to arrive there.
I would think that information would most certainly have made its way thru the Cormyrian Elf community if not Cormyr as a whole. They could get this from travelers, magical communications, portal travel, etc.... I also wondered if they would know from the communion Elves share when they participate in Reverie.
In August, the war is not only in full swing, but ending with the crusade winning and Miritar being slain.
Anyways, I had been planning a post to the DM team to ask similar questions about what would/would not be acceptable knowledge to have as well.
As far as leaving to "participate" this would in my mind simply mean being absent from FRC for the period of time. Once returned he would know nothing beyond what general knowledge that a member of the Crusade would have. He would not be privy to specifics and or events that only a main character would know.
Because this is such a hugely significant series of events involving the Elven People I would hope that our FRC Elves would be allowed some form of participation, even if it is simply saying we participated.
This of course would all be subject to the discretion of the DM Team.

Thanks Ent and Mikey, I'm interested in seeing what possible effects the Fey'ri plot line has on things in the future as well. Could be a lot of fun.
Any other thoughts on the Evermeet invasion lore?

Evermeet tightened down traffic after the invasion, they started to close Even more of the old portals coming and going. from what I get from the feeling of the books, that I've read, that seeing folk comming from evermeet during this time, would have to be pretty well endowed in station, or be coming with the militia. so right now to see an evermeetian character appear in comryr would be kind of .. odd. but not fully impossible. Besides that, I don't more what more information to give you, over the last four years Evermeets high mages have been devastated and they've been attacked twice. So it's a time of even higher secrecy, derastic actions, etc. not to mention the king died before that, and there was the dragon commet thingy... So bad days for evermeet

Considering everything as a whole, it paints a clear picture of why even normally friendly elves would be very tight lipped about it. Thanks.
