A male halfling in green delivers a letter to Pett at the Red Ravens'.
To whom it may concern,
Earlier today, there was a man in town wearing gold and black armor, with a black cape decorated with a familiar skull and purple sunburst. He was loudly proclaiming the greatness of the Dark Sun, declaring things along the lines of "praise Lord Cyric!," and asking that the infidels who dare worship other gods be smitten, whether by his own hand or another. He also claimed that his god had murdered both Kossuth and Mystra.
The on duty militia just ignored him, as did most passing people, but he did cause quite the ruckus. He didn't actually try to hurt anyone, but he was certainly disturbing the peace and hindering business, not to mention being generally annoying. When people asked him to stop, he said that he was being unfairly persecuted and that he just wanted to worship in peace without being discriminated against.
Is this actually legal and accepted? Or can something be done about people openly espousing dogmas that encourage deception, murder, and so on and so forth? It makes it hard to conduct business, not to mention it's just plain wrong. I don't mean to make a fuss or to accuse the proper authorities of inaction, clearly the militia doesn't have the time to deal with each and every trouble maker, I'm just curious as to the official stance on this.
Thank you for your time, Rigrin Fristo
