Today i spotted traps placed around the Regal Gryfon. Including one in a door way that was unavoidable and the two single rooms in the same inn.
Although the traps where not deadly, they could easily kill one of the lower levels. And people hate dying enough without it happening for no reason. Just a little thought, aye?

Traps have also been placed on the exits to the town of Greatgaunt within the past couple days. It's actually a dick move, and a form of griefing, if I'm not mistaken.

If this is done IC, we ask that the player who is setting these traps send a PM to the team immediately.
We will then make a post here stating that it is IC.
If we haven't heard from anyone within a couple of days, I guess there's nothing left for us to do but shove the large end of a *blip* up your *dingdong* so fast you'll lose your *mooooooh*!

In this, I'd like to know if setting a tangle trap at the door of your room when discussing things in private with one or more parties is alright? I used to RP Sarduk trapping his berth while sleeping quite a bit, especially when alone and no one was there to keep guard. Of course, the traps were usually nonlethal and collected afterwards...

That's acceptable, so long as it's recovered when you're done. It's when you can kill other characters for no reason that it becomes a problem.

This is okay if you don't trap the actual door. Place the trap just inside the room so no part of the trap can harm anyone walking by or someone who accidentally opens your inn door because the innkeepers don't have a clue which rooms they rent to what people. I've done it myself on occassion.

Found the doofus that did this. Was just a run of the mill trouble maker. Nothing special. So we shoved the large end of a *blip* up their *dingdong* so fast they lost their *mooooooh*!
