A parchment decorated with an ivy-like trim is tacked up in every major inn in Cormyr. With many copies throughout Suzail, Eveningstar, and the Last Flagon Inn in particular. Upon the parchment in Elvish symbols written by a fine hand is the following: Cousins, brothers, and sisters it is with great honor and happiness that I invite you all to join in a celebration to be held to lift the spirits of our troubled People in these times of strife and war. Though you may not know the bearer of the hand that pens these words, I hope that if you are of Corellon's blood you may find the chance to join in the festivities of a great feast to be held.
If you are an elf new to the lands of Cormyr or an old veteran alike, please join us for song, dance, merriment, and fine food. The feast promises to be a revelry in true elvish spirit and indeed will include a ceremony celebrating the bonding of two of our cousins.
The Great Feast will be held on the day of the next half moon and will last long into the night and perhaps into the next day. Should you wish to join the rest of Corellon's blood in this celebration, simply gather at the western gates of Suzail on this day.At the bottom of the flyer is a small drawing of a mask half-white and half-black laying beside a flower. It appears to be some form of signature. //This event is scheduled to take place on Friday November 27th beginning (hopefully) at 1:00pm EST and lasting until Sunday evening (hopefully). Oh, and the flyer is written in Elvish, so if you can't read Elvish it's gibberish.

//Just to give a headsup, that's the following day after Thanksgiving, and a lot of people may not be able to attend who live in the USA due to travels or simply being hungover ;D

//What's an elvish revelry without some hungover rp?! The date can be changed if I find out from enough people who want to attend before the date, but this date was the one that seemed like the most people could do. Thanks for the heads up, and if anyone would like to attend but you can't on this date, please pm me with at least a small list of dates/times that would be better for you so that I can look and see what would work better for everyone. //I'd like to have the event so that as many people as possible who want to can join in.

//Well, at this point I've heard from a few who want to join but can't, and heard from many who want to join and intend to, so I've decided something if everyone is agreeable to it.
//If you cannot attend on the date listed for the start of the event, I would like to run the event over the course of the entire weekend - i.e. it will start Friday and last through Sunday so that as many people as possible will have the chance to be there. I won't ask the dms to hang around for all that time, but any of you are of course welcome to drop in and add some flair to things whenever you'd like. I'll do my best to have Thril on as much as possible over said weekend to be an in-character organizer for things.
//Would this be helpful for everyone? I'll edit my original posts to reflect the change if everyone finds this agreeable.

They are married by a private oath and have been for years, as you say, but they never had a public ceremony or party. Suppose you could look on it as a "renewing your vows" moment.

The poster is taken down by a somewhat weary elf in a mask, though the smile that hides behind that mask is warm indeed. //Thank you everyone who joined us for this little event. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. However, I think it's a bit unfair to ask the DMs to help out with this all weekend - especially considering that almost everyone who said they were coming already showed up last night. So, this event will not last throughout today and tomorrow and is at an end, but I'm sure there will be more Elvish revelries to come. //Thanks again to everyone who participated, and to those who weren't able to make it I look forward to seeing you at the next revelry that we can find an excuse to throw.
