For some time there has been an attempt to create some sort of citizen militia, adventuring charter, mercenary band, or as the last attempt, a Border Legion. The last was attempted by a young and courageous Camden Hawkwing, till he was greatly ridiculed and discouraged by locals of Isinhold. A letter indicated he returned to Eveningstar and followed with his cousin's Bronwyn Stormhawk and Elizabeth Emeralstar to Tethyr. Tethyr and Amn have been bsieged by Ogre led armies of the Sothillisian Empire.
Though I briefly knew Camden Hawkwing, he was passionate about his belief that Cormyr and the surrounding city states need an organized military group to aid the Purple Dragon and Crown of Cormyr and local City States. Not every adventure feels comfortable in a regular army for various reasons. The nature of such an organization would need by laws and answer to the regional laws.
It is my goal to take up the banner dropped by Camden Hawkwing and attempt to band together a group of like minded individuals to patrol and aid where needed in and around Cormyr.
