Sorry. I have a really low respect for any work of "art" revolving around vampires, excepting the book VAMPIRE$ by John Steakley.

Sorry. I have a really low respect for any work of "art" revolving around vampires, excepting the book VAMPIRE$ by John Steakley. I don't read about vampires because I love art, I read about vampires because I love pulp. In case you missed it, those were pictures of the one and only Count Strahd von Zarovich, the most recognizable villain in Ravenloft, and D&D's Dracula stand-in. Secretly, Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula film borrows a lot from the story of Count Strahd von Zarovich. Unlike in the book Dracula, Count Strahd does believe that the woman is his reincarnated long-dead love. (That's in Coppola's Dracula movie but there's nothing in the Dracula book about that. Coppola is ripping off Ravenloft.) (Ravenloft is, of course, ripping off Dracula too, but that aspect of the story isn't from Dracula.) Having said all that, the book Dracula is definitely worth a read.

I detect blasphemy in what I read on my picture thread. I'll edit in rules into my first post to clarify.
Edit: rules are posted.

The Enterprise crew member beams down to the planet wearing native clothing from a nation far from Cormyr. They are traders, but their distance from Cormyr means he should be able to blend in and avoid attention. I never did address this one. I love the multiple layers and complexity of this joke, including how perfectly it fits. I'd say this is the new winner.

I detect blasphemy in what I read on my picture thread. I'll edit in rules into my first post to clarify. Edit: rules are posted. Having read your rules, I must clarify my previous statement. I never said you would like the book Dracula. I said it was worth a read. I say this in much the same way that Moby Dick is worth a read. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like Moby Dick if I ever read it, but both books actually fall into the category of "literature." I think it's wrong to assume that just because something is worth reading, that you're going to like it. I've read some really unpleasant things that I think I'm better off having read, just for the exposure. (Most were books I had to read for school, but that doesn't mean I should appreciate them less.) No more from me about vampires in your picture thread unless it pertains to a particular picture.

Tee hee! *hops about on his newly sanctified thread*
I'm not as old as you yet, Munroe, but so far I still hate most of what they shoved down my throat in High School. Maybe in ten years I'll see it differently.

That's what milk is for. If you look at the soul in the jar item related to the night hag quest, you'll see that it's a bottled fairy, though.

Neither. It's the company's cat and my cell phone. I just spend a lot of time with her.

So many other people are showing off their awesome characters. I figured I would, too, even though I know this can often be out-done. Toluthar was level 8 when this screenshot was taken. The further adventures of the monks: Why are half the flags fluttering the wrong direction in the breeze?

Why are half the flags fluttering the wrong direction in the breeze? They're not actually flags. They're signs on signposts. They had to be done that way on purpose because all placeable objects orient the same direction when first placed in the module by a builder.

Hmm ... shouldn't the fire and cold damage cancel each other out? The negative and positive energy should cancel each other as well. Either that or cause a cataclysmic explosion. *nod nod*

Wait wait wait, you mean you -can't- heal frostbite by lighting the affected area on fire?
I've been doing it wrong this whole time, no wonder those people kept screaming in horrible pain and agony!
