IC Those at the Circle meeting last night decided to deal with the overflowing crypt near Eveningstar. The date set. 9pm GMT, 10pm Europe, 4pm EST. Location Eveningstar. The members were asked to bring any that would help. Word would pass! OOC Unless you are openly apposed to nature and would have no possible way any tree hugger could see you without attacking you, you are welcome. If you can, please come as I get the feeling we'll need it. All DMs welcome More than welcome. Hope to see you there. rite.

OOC Thanks to all that came last night. Way too many to list. Boy did we get spanked! It was going well enough with all sides helping and personally I feel we were eating our way through the crypt until.... Three moved a little too far forward (I'm in the list) and somehow both the back and front groups triggered spawns at the same time. Thing is the mages were on one side of the back spawn, so we were slit in three and we never were able to properly regroup. That and the lag the large group was making did not help. Personally I pulled back a ways down the corridor with others and healed myself only for the lag to catch up and tell me I was dead way back in the fight. Still it was good until then. With a little DM work but that was aimed more to the mage and I don't know much about it. Thanks again for all involved. Rite.

Screenies!!! DM's Eye View of a near TPK. I log on as DM and see a huge number of dead PCs, then port over and find this....

Poor Uju died all alone, though.

I swear they were dead when I got here! *sniff* Such a beautiful sight, I wiped away a few tears.

And what a horribly painful death it was. If only all my deaths could be so violent and bloody and DM pleasing!

//Lovely pictures ... but no one mentioned the rescue party that came and successfully raised everyone who did not have to respawn to log out for that place called RL.
Voni's body was not there... she knew when to run (before dying is a good time). She downed a potion of speed and struggled from the center of the two groups of zombie out... then cast what healing circle she had to help as much as she could and ran before she recieved another blow.
She had to go as far as Suzail before finding anyone to help. There she found Ailren and then Celithiril who told her to run to Isinhold and get whoever else she could. There she found Ronan, Aria and Foxy... they all met in Eveningstar and ... well were successful in bring out ... everyone.

Radu's still kicking himself for going in there again... barely made it out the other two times. *groan* (but they were all fun!)
a big thank you to the rescue party and especially Voni for her efforts.
also, thanks Pookey for the screen-shots. not the most flattering, but it's good to remember failures too. :)

Just remember guys, this is all in good fun and totally tongue in cheek. There's nothing I as a DM like better than when a group of adventurers pulls a win from the jaws of defeat. I love it when you beat my monsters or my plot by the skin of your teeth. It means I got it just right, just tough enough, just mysterious enough, etc.
For me, when I win it means I did something wrong.
Of course, I didn't have anything to do with the untimely deaths of your characters in this case, but just saying... you know...

*facepalms*
Thanks for the correction... I KNEW I was forgetting someone who really was important and a good friend. Sorry about Rastan's name... for some reason I keep getting it confused.
*blush of some embarrassment* But thank you all!

OOC Nice Screenies!!
IC *whispers and notes passed. Unless you are a member of the circle of a friend at any level chances are you over heard someone that was being careless or tactless and you get the feeling you would not be wanted there.*
'A meeting for the circle and its friends is called for tomorrow. Where the Tree father blessed at the same time as his coming.'
OOC The meeting is at same place as the last one tomorrow night at 9pm GMT or 4pm EST. If you did not make the last meeting just drop a PM or TELL as members and friends would be trying to pass on the info as it is about the War. Hope to see some there. Rite.
